Karate for women
Karate promotes the self-esteem and self-confidence of women and girls. Physical stature plays only a minor role. Of course, a firm grip is a great advantage. But through regular training, every woman and girl learns to automate defense techniques and targeted strikes in order to be ready in an emergency.
Karate is not a short self-defense course. The longer you practice, the more familiar you become with this art. During training, you learn to defend yourself against a potential attacker using simple but very effective techniques. Through exercises such as punches and kicks on the punching pad, you learn to perform the techniques as quickly and powerfully as possible. Various defenses such as choke defenses, wrist and grab releases are practiced with and on a partner.
