Our Karate
stands on the 3 pillars
Kihon

Kihon is an important part of karate training. Can you move with full concentration and with all your strength precisely towards a recognized target?

Kata

Kata literally means "fixed form" and is a systematized collection and sequence of techniques, positions, body movements, strategies and mental attitudes.

Kumite

Kumite are combat exercises for developing correct karatedo techniques with one or more partners.

and the training consists of
Physical training

Concentration, coordination and stamina are three important elements that are taught and promoted in karate training.

Mental training

“A person who has achieved mastery in an art proves this through all his actions” (Samurai saying)

Self-defense

Self-defense is any (legally permitted) immediate defense against an illegal attack or impending danger.

Sports competition

Karate as a competitive sport ranks third among the most valuable sports after gymnastics and ballet.

We also learn karate because...

Karate is for everyone
for children

For a karate enthusiast, training children and young people is probably one of the most rewarding tasks of all.

for women

The self-esteem and self-confidence of women and girls is promoted through karate.

for managers

The habitus of the manager is in many ways similar to that of the samurai.

for Jukuren

Since karate can be practiced into old age, our dojo is open to every Jukuren.
